Nursery Fees and Session Times – 2024/2025
Session Times
Our session times are as follows:
- A full day session is from 8.30am – 5.45pm, which includes lunch and tea. (additional
charges apply in excess of the funding) - A morning session is from 8.30am – 1.30pm, which includes lunch.
- A afternoon session is from 1.30pm – 5.45pm, which includes tea.
- Early sessions can start from 7.30am, which includes breakfast. Additional costs apply.
- Fully funded session available from 1pm-5:45. (30-hour entitlement)
- Fully funded session available from 3:15-5:45. (15-hour entitlement)
- We are open all year round, closing only for weekends, Bank Holidays and the Christmas Break.

Additional Option
Early Risers – 7.30am start (includes breakfast)

^Funded 2s. 2-Year-olds eligible for the 30 hour Working Parent Entitlement. Offered at 4.75 hours per full day attended.
*Under 3s. 2-year olds up to and including the invoice period when their third birthday falls. No
funding included.
#Funded 3s / 4s. This includes the 15 / 30 hours of Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFE) as provided
by the Government, which is available to all parents or those with Working Parent Entitlement. This
will be pro-rated over the year offered at 4.75 hours per full day attended with the Working Parent
entitlement or 2.37 hours session with the Universal funding. (KCC fund 570 hours of Universal funding per year and a further 570 hours of Working parent entitlement. These combined hours stretched over 48 weeks, equate to 4.75 hours per day if you qualify for the full 1,140 hours or 2.37 per day hours for Universal funding alone.)

Other Fees
There is a single registration fee of £100, which is non-refundable.
A non-refundable £500 deposit is required to secure your child’s space in the Nursery.
*Please note that if you qualify for fully-funded sessions, we will waive the registration fee and deposit payments.
£15 per 15 minutes will be added to your invoice for any late collections after your billed session has ended.
You will receive Invoices monthly. All invoices must be paid by the first day of each month.
Payments can be made through the Famly app by:
- Direct Debit
- Credit/Debit Card
Early pick-up is available on request.
Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFE) funded hours are available, subject to entitlement. Working Parents Entitlement must be applied for by the parents and an eligibility code must be provided to the Nursery. Failure to provide a code will result in the full fee becoming payable. Where applicable, funding is applied evenly throughout the year. Funding is also applied pro-rata depending on the number of days per week attended. The School reserves the right to withdraw from EYFE funding at any point and without notice, at which point the full fee will become payable.
We have limited availability on fully funded afternoon sessions, on a first come, first serve basis. Please email [email protected] for more information.
Please note that we require eight chargeable weeks’ notice for any amendments or cancellations and this must be received in writing.
Nutrition
Little Lambs Nursery takes its food very seriously. All our meals are made with fresh produce by an expert catering team of chefs, cooks and assistants.
Every lunchtime, our children are served a nutritious, balanced meal including a salad bar, fruit salad bar and dessert. Please note we are a nut-free nursery, and all special dietary requirements are catered for.

The Nursery uniform is dependant on the age of your child. Please see details below:

Aside from these requirements, your child may wear their own clothes to ensure they feel as comfortable as possible.

Little Lambs sweatshirts are provided by the Nursery and the cost is added to your account.

What we provide
Here at Little Lambs Nursery we look to provide the best care and experiences for the children who attend. This includes varied and nutritious meals and snacks, and in the Little Steps room, we provide all nappies and wipes.
Once your child is ready for toilet training, we have excellent facilities including a range of potties and child-friendly, low-level toilets.
